Project Overview: The North Carolina Science Festival, an initiative of the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center at UNC-Chapel Hill, is a festival held across the state that aims to highlight the educational, cultural and financial impact of science in the state. With 400+ events held over a two week period spread across all 100 counties in North Carolina, the North Carolina Science Festival needed an updated website design that made it easy for anyone interested in the festival—students, families, STEM professionals, teachers, volunteers or the general public—to locate the Festival’s many events.
The Morehead has internal web development staff, so Cuberis provided information architecture, site wireframes, and detailed mockups for their staff to execute. In addition to homepage and interior designs, we also designed a full set of components for them to customize all of their interior pages.
