This playful, custom WordPress website was inspired by the work of Melinda Thompson, author of the Budding Reader series, which aims to simplify and speed up the reading process for youngsters with stories made from short words that all rhyme. The stories are cute and the illustrations are adorable, and we used them both as the backdrop for this kid-friendly website, allowing the visitor to be fully immersed in the world of Budding Reader.

Here you can find out about Budding Reader, view samples of the books online, and even download freebies like coloring books and writing practice sheets. Of course, our favorite detail is the swinging monkey in the top right corner. Melinda also came to us for a bit of print work, including a large 6 foot tall mesh banner to bring along to book fairs and teaching events.
