8.05.10 - Cuberis launches Kathy Reich's Virals We had so much fun creating Kathy Reichs' website last winter, we jumped at the chance to design a site for her brand new project, Virals. Virals is a spin-off series from Kathy's best selling and beloved Temperance Brennan series. Keeping it all the family, the main character is Tempe's teenage niece, who--along with her above-average-IQ-level friends--manages to get into all kinds of trouble roaming the streets of Charleston, South Carolina. We can't say much more than that just yet, but check out the splash page often... as we get closer to the release date in November, we'll be adding some extra hints and goodies for you to explore on the site. Enjoy!

But we definitely got a a piece of the pie as Scientific Properties has built out a deluxe 1400 square foot office space for us at Golden Belt. If you like horses, you're gonna love this site.
6.28.10 - Cuberis launches StettenRealty.com & EnergyHandyman.com Adam Stetten is a realtor, handy-man, and all around go-to guy for all things concerning "green" upgrades for you home. We created for him two sister sites, following the same basic navigation and structure, to house his two businesses, Stetten Realty and Stetten Homeowner Services. Each provides useful information for anyone wishing to purchase an energy-friendly new home, or get their current home up to snuff and save some money on utilities. And if you were wondering, he just likes lizards.
5.15.10 - Cuberis launches MelissaLamkin.com Melissa Lamkin is a stylist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, whose work has been featured in magazines, runways, corporate events and weddings. She needed a new site to organize the many facets of her styling portfolio, and with her new site you can see exactly how talented and dynamic she really is. Through Melissa's kind words about her new site and our services, we have also begun work with some of her contacts, in fields like wedding planning, cake decorating, and custom stationery design. So thanks Melissa, we love working with other designers!

1.28.10 - Cuberis launches KathyReichs.com When Kathy Reichs—author and creator of the Fox TV series Bones—approached us needing a new website, we were excited to work with the bestselling author. We used the settings of her books as inspiration for the individual background images you’ll see on the site, and even created a separate section devoted to Kathy’s work on Bones. (And we couldn’t resist hiding a few skeletons in the backgrounds.) Kathy has several new novels coming out later this year, and with her social networking plugins, e-newsletter and live twitter feed, she’s able to keep all her fans in the loop.

This was a dream project for any designer as we got to start with a logo, move on to custom illustrations, a variety of packaging and finally an e-commerce website to complete the full branding process. Once you visit the site, keep checking back often, because this project will continue to grow (pun intented) and is sure to offer new and exciting "green" products in the future..

5.10.9 - Cuberis brings in some new talent! This year we expanded the office by two, adding to the team Will -- one fearless coder, and Lydia – the new graphic girl. We tend to cut up a lot in the office (Ray's butchering of the English language is always good for a laugh) but it's made for a nice mix of personalities and creative voices...as well as a few arguments over who's music to listen to.
4.27.09 - Animal Protection Society of DurhamIf there's one thing we love here in the office, it's dogs, so this site was a lot of fun to work on (and not just because we got to go visit the animals).
