Web Coder / Developer Location: Durham, NC

Position Description:Web Developers with a strong coding background and desire for creative work are needed for full-time positions at a small design firm in Durham, NC.  This position requires a candidate who is comfortable working with a graphic designer's concept to achieve an end product of their creative approach and likeness on the web.  Strong HTML and CSS skill levels are required to build and code sites through Dreamweaver.  A good amount of preflight work for this position will be in Photoshop and understanding its basic features will be necessary.

The ideal candidate will be creative with a good sense of design and be able to add to projects with suggestions and solutions to build and advance the site's potential.  A solid understanding of Flash Coding, Javascript, PHP and SQL databases all are highly encouraged, while a willingness to constantly expand one's knowledge of coding is a must.  Previous employees in this position worked with e-commerce platforms, e-blast newsletters, Flash banner ads, database building, and CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress.

For this position, online portfolio work and examples will be needed to reference front-end code and back-end interfaces written by the applicant.

Graphic Designer Location:  Durham, NC
Job Position: Full Time Employment
Start Date:  early April

Position Description: Graphic designer with strong aesthetic eye needed for work with a creative team at a small design firm in Durham, NC.  This position requires the candidate be able to design creative solutions for a wide range of clients through their varying graphic needs.  Previous work experience should be in both online and print mediums.  For online projects, a candidate will not only need to be able to design a website’s look & feel but also to define its functionality and prepare site files for HTML or Flash coding.  For print work, the ability to correctly set up and design files with all pre-press requirements in mind will be absolutely necessary.

It is essential to be proficient in the majority of the Adobe Creative Suite, as the work will immerse one in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. A solid skill level of HTML and Flash Coding are highly encouraged, while a desire to constantly expand one's graphic abilities is a must.  

The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative environment and be able to adapt their concepts to the clients’ needs under the guidance of the Cuberis team.  Portfolios will be reviewed for innovative design concepts that depict solid use of color, typography, layout, and an eye for detail.  Previous employees in this position worked designing html/flash websites, e-newsletters, online banner ads, print magazines, brochures, packaging, and logo identities/branding.
